As a Clinical Psychologist in private practice, I work with:

I use evidence-based psychological therapies including cognitive behavioural therapy, interpersonal therapy and attachment-based and emotion-focused therapies. I have a special interest in working with adults, families and children in need of support through the process of separation and divorce.
As a supervisor approved by the Psychology Board of Australia, I supervise the practice of Clinical Psychology Registrars and Psychology Registrars.
I have been involved in the research and practice of psychology, as well as the teaching, training and supervision of psychologists for more than 35 years, much of that as Associate Professor of Psychology at Murdoch University. My research publications span the range of child, adolescent and adult development and functioning.
I have provided expert advice in the area of clinical issues concerning child development, adolescent development, parenting, parenting through separation and divorce, and psychological issues in reproductive health. Consequently, I have been interviewed on numerous issues in print media, and on TV and radio.
I've also provided many presentations on specific issues to parents or students in school settings and have provided professional development workshops for teachers.
